NEW Vegan Options Coming to Disney’s Boardwalk – Hurly Burly Menu

We have a couple of new vegan options in the Disney Boardwalk area! Disney Parks Blog recently announced more info and the menu for the upcoming Hurly-Burly, the spot taking over the former Jelly Rolls location on the boardwalk at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn. Here’s a bit of what the official blog said:

Step inside this historic seaside theater, once the home of the BoardWalk’s most celebrated vaudeville performers. Now, nearly a hundred years later, Hurly-Burly is opening its doors once again with entertainment offerings, vintage drinks and lite bites inspired by an era of world class performances and nautical novelty!

During the afternoons, pop in for lively activities such as trivia and games designed for the whole family. Then, beginning at 9 p.m., experience vibrant evenings of live music for guests ages 21 and older. And of course, this turn-of-the-century theater would not be complete without a nostalgic all-day menu to match, and this one is certain to knock your socks off!

Get ready to indulge in shareable appetizers and small plates inspired by classic boardwalk fare.

Confirmed plant-based/vegan upon request items that we’ll have:

  • Meatballs in Tomato Gravy:  meatballs with tomato gravy and toasted focaccia
    (Plant-based option available upon request
  • Tomato Pie: Focaccia, tomato sauce, oregano (Plant-based option available upon request)

These images are from the Parks Blog post, so let’s pretend that’s vegan cheese (but that most likely won’t be available)

Maybe??

  • Mini Apple Cider Doughnuts with miso-caramel sauce (I’m assuming this has dairy or egg, but I’ll check it out to be certain!)

Thoughts:

Honestly, this is a great step for us, since Jelly Rolls didn’t have anything, and now we have at least 2 options. I’m totally fine if they are the frozen Impossible meatballs, at least it’s something! (Plus the focaccia looks amazing).

Hurly-Burly opens October 1, we’ll check it out and share a review as soon as we’re able to! Are you planning to give this new Boardwalk spot a try?
