The 2026 Epcot International Festival of the Arts opens Friday, January 16, 2026 at the Walt Disney World resort in Orlando, Florida, running through February 23, 2026, and this is your complete guide to vegan food offerings at this year’s event, which as of this update, has only THREE vegan food options with no new items for us.
A quick note from me: This is SUPER disappointing that Disney is basically phoning it in at this point for vegan and plant-based items. Especially for this festival, which coincides with Veganuary, when many folks are trying out a vegan lifestyle for the first time. It is not difficult to make delicious, vegan as-is savory and dessert items. Disney, I implore you to do the minimum of research and improve on options that vegans and non-vegans alike can enjoy.
That said, let’s see what vegans can order at this year’s Festival of the Arts in EPCOT.
This year the Disney Broadway series is returning along with the usual photo ops, mosaic painting, chalk art and Figment scavenger hunt. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the Festival of the Arts usually features less food items than other Epcot festivals such as the longer running Epcot International Food and Wine Festival and Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. We have updated the post below with the 2026 vegan items and will be updating items throughout the 2026 festival if anything changes, so be sure to bookmark this page and check back, and follow us on @VeganDisneyFood on Instagram for the latest news.
Despite having nine items plus some smoothies a few years ago, two years ago we had two. This year, we have three vegan options (2 not counting the always-available falafel wrap). We’ve definitely noticed some changes in the number of vegan/plant-based options overall at Walt Disney World, and the festivals in particular. Festival of the Holidays featured a carbon copy of last year’s offerings, really making it difficult to enjoy the festival as much as non-vegan guests are able to. You can read more about the complete festival offerings on the official Disney website.
For 2026, the now permanent-seeming vegan option in Morocco (since the Stone Baked Bread and dips are no longer served with vegan bread, or available to modify) from the Tangierine Cafe — the Falafel wrap is back for the Festival of the Arts. So if you love it, you can still get it.
We reviewed these for the vegan EPCOT Food & Wine Festival guide (and every other festival).
The other two plant-based / vegan items are the Wild Mushroom Risotto with truffle shavings and zinfandel reduction at Gourmet Landscapes:
- Wild Mushroom Risotto with aged parmesan, truffle shavings, and zinfandel reduction (Plant-based)

And on the left above is the Beet Tartare dish, unchanged from 2025:
- 🎨 Citrus-braised Beet Tartare with golden beet “egg yolk,” mustard vinaigrette, pickled mustard seeds, pickled mushrooms, spiced pistachios, and “feta” snow (Plant-based) Both items above are available at Gourmet Landscapes, in Canada. AND! Unlike last year where they moved the gross bone marrow, they have put it BACK at this booth. Which I just think is so bad and insulting to vegans.
We lost the vegan dessert in Morocco from last year, but it was pretty much a miss anyway. Still, we need more vegan options, Disney!!
Annnd…that’s IT.
We do have some Dole Whip options at Swirled Showcase, the same options that we had last year.
- DOLE Whip in a cone:
-
- Lemon
- Lime
- Strawberry
We will of course have to confirm the cone is vegan. Additionally, there is a “Candy Trio Flight” – but 2 of the 3 candies are NOT vegan. You could hopefully order without the Starburst and the gummies (both of which contain gelatin) and it would be vegan.
- Candy Trio Flight: DOLE Whip Strawberry with
STARBURST MINIS fruit chews, DOLE Whip Lemon with SKITTLES POP’d Freeze Dried Candy, and DOLE Whip Lime with chili-lime seasoning andLIFE SAVERS gummiesNote this is a stock photo from Disney with the 2 non-vegan candies pictured. If I order the vegan version, I will update this photo!
We’ll update with new photos and video of the vegan options when the EPCOT Festival of the Arts opens for 2026.

The cones they are currently using are confirmed vegan in 2026, including the lavender cone, which they may or may not switch out for you. You can get it in a cup or a cone (or both!).
The Wonderful Walk of Color stroll returns again. We will update when we confirm what vegan items if any are in the stroll. This passport of colorful food items features 5 available stamps, and like the Cookie Stroll during the Festival of the Holidays, you can get all 5 of the same item, but the “prize” in the past has been an artist palette cookie, which is also not vegan.
Epcot International Festival of the Arts Vegan Video Food Guide
We attended the opening day of the 2025 Festival and tracked down ALL the vegan offerings at this year’s Festival of the Arts and shared here and on instagram and YouTube. Be sure to like and subscribe to know when we upload a new vegan video! We’ll update for 2026 as soon as we can!
Figment’s Inspiration Station at the Odyssey is returning this year and they’ve announced a new Figment popcorn bucket (we’ll update the new bucket photo when it’s released!)
Figment’s Inspiration Station at the Odyssey
Despite the lack of vegan options, be sure to explore the Odyssey during this festival. Figment’s Inspiration Station features some of the original projections that were used in the Journey into Imagination ride and an original Figment figure as well as the pin tables from the Image Works. My childhood self was in heaven. We’ll see if this all returns for 2026.
There’s also a new smoothie this year at the Vibrante & Vívido: Encanto Cocina (Between Morocco & France), replacing the previous Passion Fruit Mango smoothie. We are assuming this will also be vegan but have not confirmed. We will at festival opening.
- Layered Tropical Berry Smoothie: Wild berry, piña colada, and strawberry (Non-alcoholic beverage) (New)
And that’s it for vegan items at the 2026 EPCOT Festival of the Arts. As a reminder, on opening day and for a while when the festival opens, depending on who you speak to, you can get different answers on vegan ingredients. Unless you see the ingredients on the packaging itself, you may not be getting the full story. We always attempt to confirm ingredients wherever possible so this guide will be as accurate as it can be. Thanks for reading!

For alcohol, we advise checking Barnivore.com for vegan status.

Make sure you take time to enjoy all the art displays, including the interactive paint-by-numbers mosaic and photo ops throughout EPCOT. And be sure to watch the TWO Beacons of Magic shows on Spaceship Earth after sunset. There’s a Rainbow Connection one and a Figment one which features almost the whole original ride soundtrack to Journey into Imagination. We’ll have that on our upcoming video soon!
The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts runs daily January 16th through February 23rd, 2026. Artful EPCOT is included with park admission with a valid park pass (or Park Hopping if available after 2pm). Food samplings are extra and can be purchased a la carte. We will update this post again after the Festival opens.

thanks again for all your hard work on behalf of us vegans!
My pleasure, thanks so much!!
Just a heads up – we asked at Encanto and they informed us the passion-coconut smoothie was not dairy free.
Ah thank you, I didn’t get a chance to get over there on opening day. I’ll confirm ingredients and update the post. Thanks!
I also checked and the cashier called the chef and was told the smoothie is plant-based.
Thank you!!
Thanks for your 2024 update, it’s so disappointing the lack of items for this years festival. I meant does the bread and hummus count any more being that it’s a year round offering? I had the same exact rant when browsing the released menus the other day on the Disney Parks Blog. Do you know who and via what method we can politely let Disney know it’s a major letdown and seems like going backwards not forwards.
(Also so disappointed the curry pizza at creations cafe is no longer on the menu!)
See the bottom of the post for an email to contact Disney 🙂 Thank you!
